The MHH CRC Core Facility is an experienced team of 14 medical professionals. We act as an early-phase unit and site management organization to ensure that our partners in industry collaborate smoothly with the specialized clinics of the Hannover Medical School (MHH). At the CRC Hannover, we conduct studies on numerous indications in our specialized clinics. Our out-hospital facilities and the expertise of leading medical experts create a safe, comfortable environment for patients and healthy volunteers. Since beginning our first projects at the CRC Hannover in the summer of 2014, we have initiated about 10 clinical trials a year, and our capabilities and resources will allow us to continue growing.
The MHH CRC Core Facility’s study team mainly initiates and conducts early phase I, IIa, and IIb studies. Translational approaches and validation of drug targets in early-phase clinical trials are a special focus of our work.
The MHH CRC Core Facility team is responsible for professionally organizing and implementing early-phase clinical trials to extremely exacting standards. The team also acts as a site management organization and provides services to the clinics and institutes of MHH for jointly implementing complex multidisciplinary study programs.
The high-quality infrastructure of the CRC Hannover, in combination with the personnel resources of the MHH CRC Core Facility, makes it possible to conduct state-of-the-art clinical and pharmacological trials.
MHH conducts several hundred clinical studies per year on a variety of indications. For early-phase clinical trials with sophisticated organizational and methodological requirements, the MHH CRC Core Facility supports the MHH departments in the CRC Hannover with regard to study coordination and performance.
MHH is Germany’s university medical center with the most prominent research activity and ranks among the world’s top 500 universities in terms of scientific papers published.
