Fourth Experts’ Forum on Pulmonary Fibrosis

Diagnosis and treatment of the different types of pulmonary fibrosis is a complex subject area that continues to evolve rapidly. Numerous studies on antifibrotic therapy in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and also in the non-IPF types of pulmonary fibrosis were published and presented at international congresses in the past year. In addition, an update of the ATS/ERS guideline on the algorithm for diagnosing IPF has just been released. This update and the changes it implies will be the topic of the first lecture.

In the second lecture, Prof. Tobias Welte will present findings from the most recent influenza season.

Based on the proven scheme, we will then present you some interesting cases from the ILD Board of the Hannover Medical School and will be pleased to discuss with you the diagnostic findings and therapeutic implications.

Please note that all presentations will be in German language.
